You’re being moved anyway. Decide where your training records land.

Emergency Reporting became part of ESO in 2021, and departments are being transitioned onto ESO Fire RMS — a process ESO advises budgeting about 180 days for. Your incident reporting has to follow your RMS. Your training records don’t. Rescue Hub is $50 per staff member per year, migrates free, and is running in about a week.

If Emergency Reporting is moving you to ESO Fire RMS anyway, that is the moment to decide where training lives.

  • The migration is happening either way. Emergency Reporting has been part of ESO since 2021, and agencies are being transitioned onto ESO Fire RMS — a move ESO advises budgeting roughly 180 days for.
  • Incident reporting has to stay in an RMS. Training does not. NERIS reporting belongs with your records system. Task books, requirements, and certifications do not have to be bundled with it.
  • Published price. Rescue Hub is $50 per staff member per year with every feature included — a 40-person department pays $2,000. No quote, and no renegotiation at transition.
  • About a week, not two quarters. There is no CAD integration and no incident data to reconcile. We import your training history and rebuild your task books for free.
  • Rescue Hub is not an RMS. You still need one for NERIS, ePCR, inspections, and pre-plans. We are the training half only.

Consolidation has a price, and it shows up at renewal.

In February 2026, WGME’s I-Team reported on Maine fire departments whose software costs rose sharply after industry buyouts. Bridgton’s chief described going from about $2,500 a year to a $15,000 five-year proposal. Rockport’s chief put his department’s increase at roughly 110% over two years. Rockport also lost access to thirteen years of training records and incident reports in the move.

We’re not going to tell you what your quote will look like — we don’t know, and neither does anyone until it arrives. We’ll tell you what ours is: $50 per staff member per year, published, with your data exportable the entire time you’re a customer.

Here’s exactly what you’d pay.

$50 per staff member, per year. You can do the math yourself, right now, without booking a call or waiting on a quote.

15 staff $750 per year
40 staff $2,000 per year
75 staff $3,750 per year
150 staff $7,500 per year
  • Every feature included — task books, requirements, events, certifications, reporting, messaging.
  • Free onboarding and data import. No implementation fee.
  • Your records are yours. Export everything, any time, in formats you can actually open.
  • No setup fee, no per-seat negotiation, no surprise renewal quote.

Rescue Hub vs. Emergency Reporting

These do different jobs, and after the transition they’ll do them under different names. Here’s where the line falls.

Rescue Hub compared with Emergency Reporting

Where it stands Independent. Not being migrated onto anything. Part of ESO since 2021; agencies are being transitioned to ESO Fire RMS
Price $50 / staff member / year — published on this site Quote-based, renegotiated at transition
What it is A training platform — that is the entire product A fire RMS; training records are one part of it
Moving your data Free import in, free export out, any time Migration handled as part of the ESO transition
Time to live Most departments are running in about a week ESO advises allowing about 180 days to plan, migrate, and train

The one good thing about a forced migration

You’re moving anyway. Decide what moves where.

A forced migration is the one moment you get to ask what actually belongs in the same system. Incident reporting has to live in your RMS — NERIS requires it. Your training records don’t. This is the cheapest chance you’ll ever get to stop bundling them together.

Get your training records somewhere settled

Rescue Hub isn’t being acquired into a larger suite or migrated onto a successor platform. Training is the whole company. The system your task books live in should be the boring, stable part of your stack.

Your records stay yours

Export your full training history any time, in formats that open in Excel without a support ticket. No department should discover at renewal that a decade of sign-offs is behind a paywall or a migration queue.

A week, not two quarters

There is no CAD integration to schedule and no incident data to reconcile. We bring your training history over and rebuild your task books for you, and your crews are signing off on shift the same week.

You still need an RMS. We’re not one.

NERIS reporting, ePCR, inspections, pre-plans, hydrants, apparatus checks — none of that is us, and none of it is going to be. You will still be choosing a records platform, and ESO is a serious one. Nothing on this page argues otherwise.

What we’re arguing is narrower: training doesn’t have to be part of that decision, that bundle, or that quote. Pull it out, settle it in a week for a published price, and go negotiate the rest with one less thing on the table.

Rescue Hub vs. Emergency Reporting, answered

Is Emergency Reporting going away?
Emergency Reporting has been part of ESO Solutions since 2021, and ESO has been transitioning Emergency Reporting agencies onto ESO Fire RMS. ESO’s own migration guidance advises departments to allow roughly 180 days to plan the move, migrate data, and train staff. Check with ESO for your agency’s specific timeline.
Can Rescue Hub replace Emergency Reporting?
Only the training half. Rescue Hub handles training delivery, requirements, certifications, task books, attendance, and compliance reporting. We are not a records management system — no NERIS or NFIRS incident reporting, no ePCR, no inspections, pre-plans, or hydrants. You will still need an RMS for those.
Why move training out of the RMS at all?
Because bundling them means every RMS change becomes a training change. When your records vendor is acquired, sunset, or migrated, your task books and certification history move with it. Keeping training in a system built only for training means the compliance records you would have to produce in an audit are not caught up in someone else’s platform transition.
What does Rescue Hub cost?
$50 per staff member per year, published on our pricing page, with every feature included and no implementation fee. A 15-person department pays $750, a 40-person department pays $2,000, and a 150-person department pays $7,500. There is no renegotiation at transition.
Can you import our training history out of Emergency Reporting?
Yes, and it is free. We bring over your training history, requirements, and certification records and rebuild your task books for you. Most departments are live in about a week. Export is free too — your records come back out in PDF, Excel, and CSV any time you ask.
Do we have to wait until the ESO migration is done?
No. Training can move independently and on its own schedule, which is part of the point. Several departments stand Rescue Hub up while the RMS transition is still being planned, so at least the training records are settled before the bigger move starts.
