Rescue Hub Announces New Ownership

December 2025

Rescue Hub today announced a change in ownership as part of a planned transition focused on strengthening the platform for long-term growth and continued service to fire departments and EMS agencies.

Founded in 2017, Rescue Hub was built to help departments track training requirements and manage training content through a reliable, easy-to-use platform. That mission remains unchanged.

Rescue Hub has been acquired by Seth Coelen, owner of LeoTraining, a well-established training platform serving law enforcement agencies nationwide. Seth brings extensive experience in training technology, content delivery, and customer support, and Rescue Hub aligns naturally with his broader mission to support first responders with high-quality training tools.

“This transition has my full support,” said Jeff Wigal, founder of Rescue Hub. “I’m confident that Rescue Hub’s best days are ahead. Seth plans to invest in meaningful improvements while maintaining the reliability and service agencies expect. I will remain involved as an advisor during the transition to ensure continuity and a smooth handoff.”

“My plan is to continue Jeff’s original mission while strengthening the platform,” said Seth Coelen. “We want to make Rescue Hub even more useful for departments and ultimately serve our first responders in the best way possible.”

Rescue Hub will continue operating as it does today, with no changes to customer access, data, or service, and no immediate action required by current users. The platform’s mission and day-to-day operations remain the same.

This transition is focused on ensuring Rescue Hub remains a dependable, long-term solution for departmental training management.
